Morobe province has again received the biggest funding under the 2021 National Budget.
The province was appropriated K350.2 million out of the total budgetary appropriation for the provincial sector which stands at K4.7 billion.
That's an increase of about K56.6 million from the previous budget allocation of K293.6 million.
The Autonomous Region of Bougainville received the second-highest funding of K298.4 million followed by the Eastern Highlands with over 278 million, and Madang Province is next with K253.1 million.
East Sepik received K246.6 million, Southern Highlands K227.4 million, and K214.2 million for Simbu Province.
All other provinces received less than 200 million each.
