PNG Sports Minister Justin Tkatchenko to meet Prince Charles in Glasgow |
Sports Minister will be meeting with Prince Charles while in Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games. Mr Tkatchenko will be told in that meeting which of the royals will travel to PNG next year to open the Pacific Games. The country is also sending the largest team to Glasgow with 160 athletes in all. Mr Tkatchenko is not only the minister for Sport but also a proud father with his 14 year old daughter Savannah taking to the pool in six events. He said the PNG team is hoping to take home medals in disciplines such as weightlifting, swimming and rugby sevens.
